BiMOR TAKES FLIGHT!

Hello hellooooooooooooooooooooo!
Big news from my favorite month of the year :))

We are already almost halfway through October but I am still finishing processing September. As I anticipated in the August diary , at the beginning of the month we participated in Who's next, our first international fair.

It was an electrifying experience, from the moment of departure to the moment of return, every second was a discovery towards territories unexplored for us.

But let's go step by step. My sister, my partner in crime for this adventure, and I left on the evening of Thursday, August 31st and, once we arrived in Paris, we were hosted by a dear friend with whom we spent a wonderful evening chatting and drinking wine. The next day, after a quick tour of the Champs-Élysées and Galeries Lafayette , we went to Porte de Versailles, the place where the fair was held, where we started setting up our stand.

It was great to see exhibitors like us spending the day trying out how to set up the layout of their products and collections, looking around and realizing that we were surrounded by people busy creating the perfect setup. After finding ours, we went back to the hotel to rest a bit, take a shower and go to dinner with our father who in the meantime had landed in Paris to be with us on the first day of the fair.

I don't want to be too long-winded so I'll avoid telling you about each day in detail, also because I've already done it extensively on my Tik Tok profile @bimordiary . So I'll just list the 5 most salient points of this incredible experience:

1. Lisbon, Madrid, Paris and Hamburg are the first cities in Europe where BiMOR will land starting from the end of this month :)))))) Specifically, there is a store that I am really proud of: Loja Das Meias . The first order we wrote and the most beautiful chain of stores we have managed to enter.

2. We have received a lot of positive feedback; one thing you should know is that these events are not only attended by buyers, but also by stylists, stockists, journalists, agents… you name it. Many of them stopped by our stand, appreciated our collection and left us their contact details for any future collaborations.

3. Two magazines of the sector have made some shootings at the fair during the days of the exhibition and both have selected two of our bags of the new playfinity line that will appear in the next editions of their magazines. Follow us to discover the editorials ;)

4. Among other things, making friends and creating new relationships with our colleagues was great. On the penultimate evening we discovered that at the end of each day there was a party reserved for buyers and exhibitors in the hangar of the fair that consisted of an open bar and music until 2 in the morning. A discovery that came at a good time because it was my birthday at midnight... so you can imagine our hangover ;)

5. The biggest lesson learned from this experience is that from now on the collections to be presented at b2b events like this one will have to be composed of fewer models (the best sellers and most representative of our identity) developed in many color variations. I understood that to distinguish ourselves it is necessary to be absolutely clearer. We will increasingly be the brand of the "woven bag" (curly bag) or of the "toy bags" (the new line that I can't wait to launch in communication.

Bottom line: This is just the beginning.

I am a girl with great enthusiasm but I am aware of the fact that what we have achieved and experienced is nothing compared to what we could experience and achieve if we continue to work with commitment and dedication, developing an increasingly defined strategy.

There's still a BIG little unknown left hanging from Paris, but I've learned that until it comes to fruition, it's best not to talk about it :')
For now this is more than enough, now is the time to get to work and carry forward what we have sown.
