NO BITCH CAN KILL MY VIBE
But there's one that's really putting me to the test.
I'll say it right away: I have no intention of saying publicly which "bitch" I'm referring to, because it's one thing to talk openly about my own business, but it would be quite another to expose people around me - who are very dear to me anyway - to criticism or assumptions that they didn't seek out.
The only thing that matters to me is the increasingly strong awareness that the “bitch” will never change her way of being and of relating to me. Impossible.
Now I know.
I've been waiting my whole life for others to change. It's always been easier to think that they should be the ones to do it rather than start focusing and working on my own change. On stopping giving myself alibis. On proving first of all to myself that f**k it: I really believe in it!
I have always found it super stimulating to read, watch or listen to interviews of people who have been successful: I have always wondered what it feels like to feel fulfilled in life and lately I have become passionate about David Letterman's TV Show that airs on Netflix "My Next Guest Needs No Introducion" , a series composed of individual interviews lasting an hour with people who, in fact, do not need introductions because they are already very well known. The interviewees are people of the caliber of Barack Obama , Malala Yousafzai , Jay-Z , Melinda Gates and Howard Stern , great exponents of different sectors all united by one fundamental factor: their burning desire.
The desire to prove to themselves and everyone else that the dreams they had as children could come true if only they had sacrificed themselves for it. People with ambitions so strong that they were driven to dedicate themselves completely to achieving their goals, whatever their nature.
Never giving up.
And to truly believe it you have to REALLY get involved.
Stopping at accepting the facts is too easy, the real challenge is and will always be to find the strength and the motivation to BE the change, not wait for it to happen.
For me, those who feel they have arrived have never actually left.
So let's see Bianca, who knows if from tomorrow you will really be different ;)
