POSTCARDS FROM CAPE TOWN
A suitcase full of BiMOR and a desire for adventure around the world.
When I left, I didn’t have a clear plan—just a ticket to Cape Town, a desire for new exciting adventures, and my childhood friend Federico waiting for me on the other side.
Cape Town is a city that quietly gets under your skin. Warm, vibrant, full of contrasts. International enough to make you feel at ease, yet with such a strong identity that it reminds you how far you are from home.
So here’s a bit of my journey: each day brought something new to discover and carry with me, just like the bags that accompanied me along the way.
FRIDAY 18
Driving at sunset on Chapman's Peak with Federico — my guide for the entire vacation — was one of the most magical moments of the trip. The evening ended with a quiet dinner with his friends. For the occasion, I chose a simple look, enhanced by my Doll Caramel Toffee.

SATURDAY 19
Saturday brought a surprise: Federico took me to see a DHL Stormers rugby match. An incredible experience, even without knowing the rules ;) Daytime look featuring my Doll Coral, complete with a full set of accessories (necklace + bracelet) and a matching Bon Bon bag.

sunday 20
I spent Easter with Federico’s family. For Mass, I chose a polished look, featuring the Bon Bon Mandarin Orange bag. I don’t usually attend church, but this service was truly special for me. This year, no Easter eggs—but I brought the surprise from Italy!
The Value of a Thought
When you're a guest in someone's home, I believe it's important to show gratitude. Whether with a thought, a small gift, or a simple gesture, the act matters. For Federico's family, I chose one of BiMOR's new keykeepers in my favourite colour.

MONDAY 21
Spent the morning at the gym trying to burn off all the Easter food (spoiler: didn't succeed). Brought my tote bag to carry all the necessities with me. Easter Monday with Federico's girlfriend's family: I felt at home away from home.

TUESDAY 22
A morning at the Waterfront and a visit to Robben Island — a significant stop that gave profound meaning to this journey. Having the opportunity to tour the prison where Nelson Mandela was held for 18 years, guided by one of his fellow inmates, allowed me to better understand the extent of the injustice most of the population endured for decades and that, unfortunately, is still deeply rooted in the foundations of our society today. In the evening: jazz night at Asoka. I wore the Doll and Bon Bon combo in their Licorice Black and Cappuccino variants.
WEDNESDAY 23
A trip to Table Mountain by cable car: alone, but with the right view and my Get Lucky charm, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly lucky. Sunset at Camps Bay with a book in hand and Tote on my arm: everything I needed. In the evening, a must-stop at the Oranjezicht Market: a must.
THURSDAY 24
Morning of smart working at Strangers Club with Baby Orange, Mr. Dumbo charm, and Orange Alter Ego. The same set I also took with me for the hike up Lion’s Head: not very practical but definitely stylish. (Note: if you're planning to embark on this adventure, be prepared—the ascent is TOUGH)
FRIDAY 25
Morning at Clifton Beach with my tote bag, a Light Cappuccino Alter Ego paired with the Under the Sea charm, and a Bon Bon Brown Cookie as a bag-in-bag. Happy hour at Café Caprice with my CT newly found girlfriends and, once again, Athletic: this time wearing a new BiMOR piece from the FW25 collection—a little sneak peek I can't wait to share with you.
SATURDAY 26
A morning of appointments with Federico, lunch at The Bungalow (highly recommended), and... a helicopter ride! Seeing the city from above was a surreal experience. Still with the Coral Doll, one of the bags I used most during this trip. Evening spent at a wine farm in Constantia with Fede's friends.
SUNDAY 27
Spent the day wine tasting in Stellenbosch with my new friend Dayna: I wore the Caramel Doll, she wore her Fluo Lime Doll. The wine estates we visited were: Boschendal, Babylonstoren, Delaire Graff, and Tokara (my favorite). Happily at home in the evening... a special thank you to Federico for being our sober-driver <3
MONDAY 28
Cape of Good Hope to conclude the trip in style and seize the chance to see the penguins in their natural habitat. With me, the Her Licorice Black — do you think the color choice was coincidental?
This experience reminded me why I love traveling: observing, learning, listening, and growing.
To you who are reading, I wish a journey that surprises you, changes you, gives you unforgettable emotions, or simply makes you feel good.
Positive energy attracts positive things.
Oh, and don't forget: when you set off, take the right bag with you. A faithful companion that will accompany you on all your adventures.
If it's a BiMOR, I'm sure it will bring you a little extra luck ;)
With lots of love,
Bi>
