BEHIND THE SCENES: WHERE COLLECTIONS ARE BORN

September, as we all know, is fashion month.

Online, it seems to be all about front rows, incredible clothes, exclusive events, and celebrities everywhere.

But the truth is, for me, fashion week isn't just about runways, paparazzi, and events; it's about trade shows, constant travel, seasonal changes, months of mood boards and research that take shape, giving way to the birth of new ideas.

It's an intense month, characterized by a unique duality: on one hand, there's all the concrete work of the present – photoshoots, new setups, campaign development; on the other, my mind is already projected onto the next season.

One foot in the present, and the other looking ahead, towards SS26.

A month full of behind-the-scenes work and days where there was never enough time.

And then the evenings spent watching the fashion shows from bed until late at night.

Because behind certain runways, there's still something that makes my eyes light up. The aspirational side of fashion: the one that speaks of vision, not sales.

After months of ideas, trials, visions, and quickly jotted notes, my favorite moment has arrived: transforming everything into something real.

The next collection will feature new volumes, significant materials, unprecedented craftsmanship, special accessories, and lots and lots of color.

That kind of palette that makes you want to live, to go out, to express yourself through what you wear.

Looking back, my fashion month last year was incredible.
Two weeks in Paris, one in New York, one in Milan: telling it sounds like a dream, and indeed it was.

But this year, having experienced everything from Genoa — from my city, from my studio, with my team — I realized something incredibly simple and powerful at the same time: to take on the world, I must start from home.

And this September was the most beautiful confirmation of that.

So here are a few little spoilers of what I'm starting to prepare for next spring, even though this autumn is still full of surprises to discover ;)
