LET'S TAKE STOCK

2023 is now upon us and, like every year, the end of December represents for me an important moment of reflection which I take advantage of to take stock of my life, both personal and professional.

I went to the stories archive of our Instagram profile @bimoritaly to review everything that happened in 2022 and boy, how much can change in a year.

So here is a list of highlights from these 12 working months:

JANUARY
We have announced the 25 winners of the #25daysofBiMOR Giveaway. 25 new people who have entered the community and who have brought a breath of fresh air to our reality. I have already talked about them in the diary page “Who are the ambassaMOR?” , if you want, take a look here :)

FEBRUARY
The launch month of the BiMOR 2.0 spring summer 2022 collection: an important moment of rebirth for me.

MARCH
First and perhaps main setback of 2022: Rinascente did not place an order for the BiMOR CONFIDENT collection.

I didn't get too discouraged because I was aware that our sample collection (i.e. the presentation of the collection that is being prepared for the sales campaign) was not complete and that it did not reflect the potential that the entire collection would have had.

I simply said that I understood their decision but I thought we would hear from each other soon, we had just delivered the BiMOR 2.0 collection to their stores and I was SURE that they would contact us again... and in fact, we'll talk about it again in the October paragraph ;)

APRIL
A little digression, still related to BiMOR. In April I was very busy producing an advertising campaign for Andrea Morando , the Ligurian chain of stores founded by my father where I work together with my brothers, my sister-in-law and the rest of the BiMOR team.

The “Towards New Horizons” campaign was very important for me, I learned a lot from this work which taught me to never give up in the face of difficulties and to never bite off more than I can chew.

MAY
A new addition to the BiMOR TEAM! Elena , the latest addition to our group of friends and colleagues, has applied to us for a curricular internship necessary to obtain her degree in Brand Management at the IULM University in Milan .

For me, it was when she joined the team that things started to change: she was the first intern dedicated entirely to BiMOR, she gave me a big hand in developing many brand administration jobs and she learned from Sara how to manage the e-commerce and all the related activities.

After about a week of her arrival I already understood that she was a girl to hire, precious because she was reliable, precise and determined to always learn and improve.

JUNE
Launch of the BiMOR ZERO WASTE collection! Our first Green project made entirely with recycled materials and Sold Out in less than three months :) To find out more click here .

Oh! A special mention also to my first participation in a podcast! Marco and Pietro, the founders of the “Parliamone Podcast” invited me to have a chat with them about the world of fashion, BiMOR and much more. It was super fun, if you want to listen to the episode click here !

JULY
If in May there was a new addition, in July there was our first loss. India, one of the most lively girls of the team, has in fact chosen to take another path, more in line with her needs and requirements.

Seeing her go was a great disappointment, but knowing that she is happy, serene and satisfied with her new job is all that matters.

AUGUST
August was the month of preparation for the launch of a new flagship model by BiMOR: the Curvy in mini and maxi format.

SEPTEMBER
In fact, at the beginning of September we launched the BiMOR x Andrea Morando Capsule Collection: a collection of knitted garments, available in 4 different colors, perfect for those who love to dress cool without necessarily having to give up comfort.

To launch the campaign we selected two dancers from the Genoese dance academy Naima Academy, Maddalena Svevi and Ianira Andreoli .

Fun fact: the morning of our shooting Maddalena received the news that she had been selected to join Amici di Maria de Filippi ! To this day Maddalena is still competing and is doing great, vote for her!!!

OCTOBER
The month of revenge. As predicted, we were contacted again by the buyers of Rinascente who, having sold almost all the bags of the BiMOR 2.0 collection, were interested in placing an order for the next SS23 season ;) This time we were ready, the collection is very fun, super colorful (I can't wait to reveal it to you!!!) and was much appreciated by both ;)

They ordered 234 bags for the offices in Rome , Palermo and Cagliari !

NOVEMBER
The BiMOR community is growing :))
This year, for practical reasons, we decided to make a softer Giveaway than usual, we put up for grabs 4 Yours 2.0 for 4 winners selected based on the responses received.

DECEMBER
New Year's Eve and the moment when we finally launched the new capsule of small leather goods BiMOR ESSENTIALS.

…and that's a wrap!

This year for me ends with a slightly positive balance, it was a year of solidification, now I'm starting to glimpse the shape of a structure capable of carrying this project forward in the best possible way.

Good intentions for 2023? Grow on Tik Tok and distribute our brand in more places in Italy as well as in Rinascente!

Where once I did nothing but daydream, fluttering around full of enthusiasm and naivety, now I feel that everything has a weight, everything seems complicated and there are many more moments when I feel overwhelmed than when I feel invincible.

But each of us is the master of our own destiny; every choice we make determines our life path and today more than ever I feel like reacting with maximum determination to every difficulty that will arise on my path.

So my dear friends, best wishes for a happy new year full of challenges and satisfactions!
