A YEAR OF CHANGE

After years of trying, we finally received our first order from a retailer in Japan. But since all that glitters is not gold, today I’m also telling you the other side of the story.
In February, we participated in White Show in Milan, a trade fair dedicated to fashion brands looking to expand their distribution network (if you've been following us for a while, you already know that we've been participating in events like this for years to try and grow our brand).
And, while we have achieved great milestones by exporting our brand to over 18 countries worldwide, the truth is that moments of discouragement have been as numerous as moments of excitement.
For this reason, after our last participation in White Show in Milan, I finally accepted something that I had actually known for a while but didn't want to admit.
Distribution is not for us.
I tried. We tried. With commitment, seriousness, and – above all – with investments that we can no longer afford.
Admitting it plunged me into a deep crisis because, at first, it almost felt like giving up. Like I was quitting.
But then, after a few days of reflection, I realized it wasn't giving up. It was just accepting things as they are and making the best choice for my business.
Because a road that closes isn't necessarily a dead end.
Distribution is a world that demands a lot: knowledge, experience, patience, money to invest. And while we will always keep the door open for new opportunities, such as that new retailer in Japan, it's time to go all in and focus on the only true certainty that has never wavered over the years: our ability to sell directly to consumers.
Talking to those who truly choose BiMOR.
Building something that makes sense, even if it doesn't have the coverage of an international buyer and may take longer to achieve certain goals.
I don't really know where this choice will lead, but I know it's mine. And for that reason alone, it feels like the right one.
Many new things are coming, but the number one goal is just one:
to create a real community.
Of people who interact, who understand the project, who choose it and live it.
Because that's where I want to be. And that's where I want to start over.
With much affection,
Bi>
